Peter O’Malley, President and Founder of Staged Right Productions, built his company from the ground up. From the beginning, Peter designed Staged Right to serve the political arena, and has built his company using his unique talents and experience to be the best in the industry.
Peter is already one of the most experienced and leading political event producers in the area. His work in the political arena is vast and at the highest levels of government. He has worked on numerous Presidential Campaigns including Bush’s (‘00,’04), Dole’s (‘00), Kerry’s (‘04), Edwards’ (‘04), and Dean’s (‘04), several Presidential Inaugural Celebrations, and has produced hundreds of events for Cabinet Level Secretaries and Congressional members. In addition to producing events for the highest members of his country, he has also produced countless events for the Kings, Queens, and other leaders of several foreign countries. The level of experience, professionalism, insight, and knowledge that Peter brings to every event is unsurpassed. Peter’s work is so highly regarded that his clients span not only the bipartisan divide, but both the nation and the globe.
Peter is highly regarded for his abilities in live broadcast events; his meticulous attention to the details that matter on air has earned him a seat on the production team of numerous press conferences, Fortune 500 announcements, new product launches, and countless nationally carried awards programs. His understanding of technical and production elements role’s in message impact is unrivaled, as is his ability to come in on time and on budget time after time. Peter has significant experience in live environments, as well as post-edit events and is adept in both.
In Peter’s production beginnings, he honed his art in theatre. Learning the roles and intricacies of each of a theatrical designer’s tools, he was able to create some of the most memorable scenes each production organization had seen. It was here that he learned his role in collaborative production and proved his abilities. Since his introduction, he has worked extensively with Washington Ballet, Washington Opera, The Shakespeare Theatre, London City Opera, The Kennedy Center and more. Peter varied his theatrical experiences by constantly changing his production role, serving as designer, director, technician, or producer – eagerly soaking up all of the lessons from each role and learning the path to success in theatrical production. Peter continues his involvement in theatre to this day by passing on his love of it to secondary school children by directing in area schools.
Today, Peter and his company Staged Right Productions are a common sight at Embassy Row, The US Capitol, the World Bank, Federal Agencies, Museums and more. His clientele is a veritable list of who’s-who on the international scene; with high level politicians and diplomats, athletic superstars, recording artists, international organizations, and international companies. Peter’s meticulous attention to detail, relentless energy and proven event track record allows him to keep growing his clientele.

Jay is happy to be joining the Staged Right team. From a family of caterers and with a passion of technical theatre, Jay brings his knowledge of special events and his enthusiam to each and every event.
Andrew Roberts, Lead Audio Engineer
Andrew Roberts joins Staged Right as the lead audio engineer.
Andy has been a long time contributor to Pro Audio Review where his columns have been viewed by millions. Andy continues to maintain his own full featured recording studio and fretted instrument repair facilty.
Andy has recorded and mixed many of the worlds greatest musicians, politicians, and events. His recordings have been featured nationwide. Andy is equally talented behind a mixing board as he is explaining to his customers what he is doing and why.
Andy just bought a house in Maryland and looks forward to many years in the Washington area.
Merrill H. Foster, Legal/Marketing
Merrill Foster is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she received a degree in Political Science. Raised in the beautiful town of Annapolis, Maryland, she learned to love theatre, boats, and reading.
A longtime participant in the theatrical arts, Merrill has learned the complex relationship between budgets and shows and how to maximize the effect of both.
Since joining Staged Right, Merrill has found that she is equally useful on a show site as in the office. Some of her favorite events have included Bush’s Inaugural Campaign and Events (2004), SilverDocs, and the 2005 DC Chamber of Commerce Gala.
In her occasional free time, Merrill enjoys being with her friends, music, and exploring D.C.
Merrill graduated with a Juris Doctor from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law.
