June 7, 2006- Washington, DC
The White House and Department of Homeland Security called upon Staged Right to provide techinical services for a press conference swearing in the new director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. With 18 hours until the cameras went live, Staged Right was asked once again to provide the flawless technical direction, lighting, staging, decor, and audio that the White House has come to rely on and expect from Staged Right at a moment's notice. Given the difficult venue and the sensitivity of the event, the White House felt that once again, Staged Right was the only company for the job. And Staged Right delivered, yet again.
Thousands of square feet of staging, 60,000 watts of lighting, full audio systems, drapery, and crews were mobilized to meet a 6am call time on site at FEMA's headquarters in Washington, DC. Within 4 hours, a full featured television soundstage with seating for 300 was created in one of FEMA's meeting rooms, complete with a VIP hold area offstage. Staged Right's complement of designers and technicians surpassed expectations.
